Our Story

Live sports bar
shoreditch sports pub

Throughout the 1800’s to the 1950’s corner shops were a cornerstone of British Life and it was more than just a place to buy provisions. Corner shops were central to communities and it was a way of life. There was a connection and dependence between the lives of those from either side of the counter. Shopkeepers relied on customers’ loyalty and customers on corner shops for supplies. The interior of these shops had array of drawers, assortment of goods, dim lighting and personal service. In addition to bearing the same name, the cornershop bar features many of the original elements, including the shelves and the dim lights. We also maintained the concept of providing everything under one roof.
